Lose Weight with Summit Skin and Vein Care

If you are struggling to lose weight, dieting with only seeing minimal results or quickly fall back into old habits then it’s time to take control with Summit Skin and Vein’s weight loss services.  Our weight loss program will provide you with the tools you need to achieve your weight loss goals and improve your overall health. 

First Steps

Our weight loss program begins with an initial visit. During this initial visit we will take a limited medical history and go over the program with you. Since this is a limited medical history we recommend you see your healthcare provider before starting. This program also includes the use of a Semaglutide or Tirzepatide so we suggest you research the contraindications regarding the medication. 

This initial visit is required in order to enroll in our weight loss program. The initial visit is $150 with an annual renewal of $100. This program is not submitted to insurance so payment is due at the time of your visit.

Medication Options

The medications involved in the program are a Semaglutide or a Tirzepatide. Both medications aid in weight loss. At your initial visit Summit Skin and Vein Care will discuss both options with you and explain how to use them. 

Semaglutide is an injectable medication for weight loss in adults with obesity or who are overweight. It works by stimulating a hormone in the body known as glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) that helps regulate blood sugar levels and reduce appetite. 

Tirzepatide is a dual-agonist meaning that it activates two receptors at the same time. The receptors are known as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP). They work together to decrease blood sugar levels, reduce appetite and slow digestion to aid in weight loss. 

Studies have shown that patients who take Semaglutide or Tirzepatide in combination with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity experience significant weight loss compared to those who only follow a diet and exercise routine.

Healthy Diet

A healthy diet is essential for weight loss and overall well-being. Focus on consuming whole, nutrient-dense foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Limit your intake of processed foods, sugary beverages, and high-fat, high-calorie items. Keeping track of your daily caloric intake can also help you stay on track with your weight loss goals.
