Missouri Arbor Day & Tree Give Away

Stop by Powell Gardens to tour through the flowers and celebrate native Missouri trees! Walk through the gardens to find all 10 of the Chinkapin Oaks featured on the property and take home a free seedling after your walk.

Powell Gardens
Explore nature’s influence on Frida Kahlo’s artwork and daily life with an illustrated talk by Stephanie Fox Knappe. Ms. Knappe is a curator at the Nelson-Atkins for a biographical overview of Kahlo’s career with an emphasis on her relationship with plants. Tickets are $35 with a 10% discount for members and there will be a box lunch to follow. Get your ticket before they’re all gone!
Social Media and Photographing Your Artwork Workshop

Flights of Fancy Mega Kite Festival

As Mary Poppins taught us, kite flying can help you get rid of your woes! This 13th annual Kite Fest is free and family-friendly. Enjoy mega kites, power kites, and stunt kites, as well as the world’s largest windsock! There will games and activities for everyone so you’ll have the whole day to enjoy the fun.
Goat Yoga 2019 Kickoff
EVENT DATE: Sunday, April 28 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Core Balance Yoga and Sunset Stables present goat yoga! This playful form of yoga is perfect for beginners who also love the rambunctiousness of baby goats. Children as young as 8 can participate with a participating adult and tickets are $25 plus tax.
