Summer is heating up, and so are the exciting events in our community! Every week in July has something fun for you and your family – you don’t want to miss out!
Legacy Blast
EVENT DATE: Tuesday, July 3, 6 pm – 10:30 pm
Legacy Park
Celebrate our country’s birthday with fun games and activities for the entire family! The baseball, softball, football, and soccer fields will each have their own inflatable moonwalk, balloon artists, and face painters. There will be concessions and patriotic music broadcast by KCMO. Most importantly – you won’t want to miss Lee’s Summit’s fireworks display that starts at 9:40 pm. Happy Independence Day!
Sunrise Yoga
EVENT DATE: Sunday, July 8, 7 am
Legacy Park Amphitheater
Embrace the fresh air and beauty of early morning yoga. Sunrise Yoga is the perfect way to start your day with a positive, relaxed spirit. If you miss this session, there will be another Sunrise Yoga on July 22 at 7 am and Moonlight Yoga on July 27th at 9 pm. Gates open at 6:30 am, and you can either register early for $5.00 or pay $8.00 at the door!
Downtown Movie Night

Downtown Lee’s Summit
Celebrate the second season of Downtown Movie Night with popcorn and great memories. This summer’s first movie is Back to the Future starring Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox. The Spoon Man

Lee’s Summit Kids Cultural Arts series is happily providing an interactive comedy program featuring children’s author “The Spoon Man.” This family-friendly comedian uses nothing more than two spoons and his sense of humor to entertain! Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for some laughs!
