Downtown Days Festival

Downtown Lee’s Summit
Downtown Days is an exciting annual festival sponsored by Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Enjoy live entertainment featuring Kansas City’s The Elders, along with delicious food, arts and crafts, and a fun carnival! Admission is free; check out the official site for specific hours and showtimes!
Got Talent
EVENT DATE: Saturday, June 9, 7 pm
Lee’s Summit High School Performing Arts Center
Got Talent is the Greater Kansas City area’s number one talent competition! Don’t miss this chance to see KC’s best and brightest! Finalists will perform on Saturday for the chance to win one of four amazing scholarships. Got Talent is sponsored by Lee’s Summit CARES, an organization devoted to preventing youth violence and substance abuse while empowering positive parenting skills. Get your tickets before they’re gone!
Cellular Cenes
EVENT DATE: Friday, June 22, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Downtown Lee’s Summit
Looking for the perfect date night adventure? This romantic story told in 5 scenes is not performed on a stage, but rather in the heart of Downtown Lee’s Summit! The audience follows the story as it makes its way through five different locations in the city! Here’s where it gets exciting: the audience won’t know where to find the next scene until they receive a text with directions! Tickets are available, and if you miss this show, don’t worry – Cellular Cenes has shows in July and August, too!
Airport Open House
EVENT DATE: Saturday, June 23, 9 am – 2 pm
Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport
Celebrate the magic of flight! This free, family-friendly event offers awesome kid activities, food vendors, and aircraft displays. Helicopter rides are available for the adventurous! The Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport is proud to support the community by providing responsive and efficient services and invites everyone to join them for this exciting Open House!
