Downtown Lee’s Summit

A late night shopping event with lots of Cackles and “Boos!” The shops of Downtown Lee’s Summit will be open late with spooky treats, “boos” and lots of great shopping. This, ladies only, shopping night is always a blast! All witches are welcome. Come dressed for a good time! Each year, the costumes keep getting better and better. It is not required to dress up, but there are so many fun ideas on Pinterest, so why not!??

SUMSUMMIT ART FESTIVAL 2016

EVENT DATE : OCTOBER 7, 4:00PM – OCTOBER 9, 5:00PM

Historic Downtown Lee’s Summit

Free, outdoor 3-day festival of fine arts that will feature over 90 local, regional and national artists, a unique blend of music, and a Kids Zone offering hands-on children’s art activities.  Free Parking and fun for the whole family.

9TH ANNUAL DIG FOR THE CURE

EVENT DATE : OCTOBER 11, 5:30PM – OCTOBER 11, 6:30PM

LSW Field House

Together with the Lee’s Summit High Tiger’s Volleyball team and our community sponsors we will raise funds for:  Gilda’s Club Kansas City, Cancer Action, and a local Lee’s Summit West family currently fighting against cancer.  Dig for the Cure celebrates local cancer survivors and fighters as well as honors the memory of those we have lost to this disease in a procession onto the court.

TRICK-A-BIKE

EVENT DATE : OCTOBER 15, 8:00AM – OCTOBER 15, 12:00PM

LEGACY PARK OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATRE

A bike ride for kids 12 and under. Kids are encouraged to “trick out” your bike anyway you like and enjoy riding the 5-mile loop around Legacy Park. Parents can ride free with the child. After the ride enjoy a breakfast, inflatables, music and more.  $15 per child pre-registered/ $20 day of event. Parents ride for free.

OCTOBER MARKETPLACE CRAFT FAIR

EVENT DATE : OCTOBER 15, 9:00AM – OCTOBER 15, 4:00PM

The Market Place

Spend the afternoon at the Marketplace, where you have the chance to enter a raffle for a handmade quilt and other items from the vendors, visit local crafters and businesspeople, and enjoy a homemade lunch made just for you by the Holy Spirit Ladies Auxiliary! TIME AND TRAVEL WITH THE LEE’S SUMMIT SYMPHONY

Journey through musical eras and countries with the Lee’s Summit Symphony. Pieces from Mendelssohn, Brahms and Gershwin will delight both young and old. BOOS, BARKS & BADGES HALLOWEEN PARADE

EVENT DATE: October 29

Downtown Lee’s Summit

Families and their dogs are invited to wear costumes and join in the costume parade from City Hall Plaza to Howard Station Park. After the parade, children are welcome to trick-or-treat at participating Downtown businesses. Awards will be given out for the best costumes at Howard Station Park following the parade.
