Bruce Fearon, MD
Dr. Fearon has been serving the Kansas City area since 1993. He received his Family Practice medical degree from the University of Kansas, and performed his residency training at Baptist Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
In 2004, he pursued Phlebology, a new medical specialty. The desire to help treat varicose vein disease lead him to open Summit Skin & Vein Care in 2005 as Founder and Medical Director.
Dr. Fearon is a Diplomate of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and Board Certified in Family Practice.
Joseph Baker, DO
Dr. Baker has been practicing medicine since 1980. He received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, and performed his residency at Doctor’s Hospital in Florida.
In 2011, he pursued Phlebology and started treating vein disease. He joined the Summit Skin and Vein Care Team in January 2023.
Dr. Baker is a Diplomate of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and Board Certified in Family Practice.
Paige Medlin, RN, FNP-C
Paige attended Rockhurst University graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2019. While working as an ER nurse, she pursued her Masters of Science in Nursing from Research College of Nursing, graduating in 2023.
Paige joined the Summit Skin and Vein Care Team in January of 2023 serving as a Nurse Practitioner.
Makenzie Stroup, MSN, FNP-BC
Makenzie attended the University of Central Missouri graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science, RN to BSN Degree in Nursing in 2017. She pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Missouri, graduating in 2022.
Her nursing experience is in ICU, Emergency Medicine, Burn/Wound Care, and Vascular and General Surgery. Makenzie joined the Summit Skin and Vein Care Team in February of 2024 serving as a Nurse Practitioner.
